The Ten-Second Verdict
Explores how professionals are found, judged, trusted, and remembered online before they ever enter the room.
Founder · Writer · Digital Presence Strategist
Before someone calls, refers, hires, follows, or believes you, they usually look you up.
I write and build at the intersection of digital presence and reinvention, helping professionals close the gap between who they are in real life and what the internet says about them.
At My Polished Profile, I have developed a focused approach to this work called Digital Presence Management: intentionally building, organizing, and improving the online assets that shape how a professional is found, trusted, and remembered. More on why I call it Digital Presence Management.

Be found. Be trusted. Be remembered.
My Story
Years at CVS Health
Visibility stopped being theoretical. It became personal.
01 · Making the complex clear
For 17 years at CVS Health, my work centered on making complex things clear: turning raw data, business questions, and complicated decisions into stories leaders could understand and act on.
Along the way, I noticed something that stayed with me: the people who advanced were not always the most qualified. They were often the ones whose value was visible, understood, and easy to explain.
02 · The chapter I did not choose
After more than 17 years in corporate leadership, I was laid off, and visibility stopped being theoretical. It became personal. I had to figure out who I was outside of a title, a company name, and a career path that had once felt predictable.
03 · What that experience became
That experience became the foundation for my work today: writing about visibility and reinvention, building My Polished Profile, and helping professionals become easier to find, trust, and remember.
The Books
One explores how people see us. The other explores what happens when we have to see ourselves differently.

Philosophy
You cannot control every turn your life takes. You can control the story people find when they look for you.
A layoff, career pivot, or unexpected ending can make years of work feel strangely invisible. But your experience, judgment, resilience, and hard-earned authority do not vanish with an org chart. They become the material for whatever comes next.
Your online presence should do more than list where you have been. It should connect the pieces, make your value clear, and help people understand who you are now, not who an outdated profile says you used to be.
You do not have to discard the person you were to build the person you are becoming. Keep what still fits. Rewrite what does not. Then step forward with a story that feels earned, current, and unmistakably yours.
